Jill was first introduced to Reiki by a coworker at a time when the healing arts were still unfamiliar to many people in the area. Curious about holistic and alternative therapies, she decided to experience her first treatment and knew immediately that she wanted Reiki to be a central part of her life. She then began working towards her certifications allowing her to share this enlightening gift with others. Jill trained for two years at Level I and Level II before becoming a certified Reiki Master however; she respects the tradition and is open to the belief that practicing Reiki will always be a learning process. Jill has been attuned to the Usui System of Natural Healing in accordance with the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition. Reiki is a technique that is passed on from teacher to student over and over. If one has Reiki, than she/he will be part of a secession of teachers leading back to the founder of the system of Reiki one is practicing. In the case of Usui Reiki, the lineage should lead directly back to Dr. Usui.
